We are taking a check up test online.  This test will be taken through Discovery Education and will include a sample of the information that we have covered so far in first quarter.  This will help us to evaluate what we need to spend more time reviewing, and what information students have mastered.

Following our evaluation in Discovery Education students will proceed to work on the following:

6th Grade- World History:

• You will get a worksheet from your teacher
• You will use the following links to answer the 3 questions provided on the worksheet:
•  Ancient Canaanite Mythology
• Ancient Egyptian Mythology
• Ancient Greek Mythology

8th Grade- American History:

• You will get an index card from your teacher that has a Constitutional Amendment on it.  
• You will work during the class period to find out as much information about that Amendment as you can.  This information will be used for a 2nd Quarter Amendment project.
• You want to answer the following questions on your index card:
• When was it written?
• Was it part of the Bill of Rights?
• What does it say?
• Was there a specific situation that caused the need for this amendment or what was changed in the Constitution?
• How do we see the amendment used today?
• Be sure to record any websites you find information on, and put information in your own words before you write it on index card. (You will fail the project if you are found plagerizing)
